Hurricane Check List
The single best resource for your hurricane plan remains the excellent
page developed by Pinellas County.
The following additional items worth your attention were gleaned from
a recent CERT meeting. Obviously some will apply more to some members,
or not
at all.
Anyway,
here they
are: Recommended Items to Think about
Non-perishable foods in small cans of single servings, not requiring
cooking
Manual can opener
Personal medications, spare eye glasses
First aid kit
Other preparations
Post-Storm: Maintaining Storm Drains
In case of flooding, storm drains may need to be unclogged. Here is a map showing locations of storm drains in Reserve Circle. See table below for details. Storm drains are located between buildings, approximately the indicated distances to the center of each pair of drains, from the nearest side wall, line extended into street, of the respective units. See map for approximate locations.
